Marie G. Tesauro, 97, formerly of Philadelphia, PA died Tuesday evening, January 15, 2019 at Transitions Healthcare, Gettysburg, PA.
Born July 5, 1921 in Philadelphia, PA she was the daughter of the late Vince and Rose (Stanisci) Nacci. She was the wife of the late Jerry Tesauro who died in 1996.
Marie was a people person who instantly loved everyone she met, and everyone loved her.
She is survived by her two daughters, Rosemary Massaro and her husband Robert, of Glassboro, NJ, Margarita Valente and her husband Victor, of Gettysburg, PA, her four grandchildren, Leon Aponte, Christian Valente and his wife Rebecca, Jeffrey Aponte, Victoria Krietz and her husband Todd, and her five great grandchildren, Brandon Valente, Grace Aponte, Anthony Krietz, Mia Aponte, and Alana Krietz.
A Memorial Mass for Marie will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, January 26, 2019 at St. Katharine Drexel Catholic Church, 8428 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD. Burial will be at a later time in St. Peter St. Paul Cemetery, Philadelphia, PA. The Monahan Funeral Home is in charge of the funeral arrangements and online condolences may be made at monahanfuneralhome.com.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to SpirTrust Lutheran Hospice, 1075 Old Harrisburg Rd., Gettysburg, PA 17325.
