Mark G. Speelman, Sr., 75, of New Oxford, PA died Monday morning, November 25, 2024 at the Penn St. Holy Spirit Hospital in Camp Hill.
Born June 8, 1949 in Gettysburg, PA he was the son of the late Belford and Viola (Bumgardner) Speelman. He was the loving husband of Rose M. (McFerren) Speelman of New Oxford to whom he was married to for 58 years.
Mark was the owner and operator of Mark Speelman’s Concrete for over 33 years. He was a fantastic father and well loved by many.
In addition to his wife, Mark is survived by his four children, Mark Speelman, Jr., Lisa Baker and her husband Ken, Melissa Speelman and her fiancé Matt McDannell, Shawn Speelman and his wife Tammy, his 13 grandchildren, Chris Speelman, Josh Speelman and his wife Stacey, Zachary Martin, Kirby Martin, Brantley Speelman, Cheyanne Roberts and her husband Casey, Savannah Speelman, Mitchell Speelman and his wife Jasmine, Nathan Speelman, Cody Speelman and his fiancé Makenzie, Dustin Speelman and his significant other Brianna, Thaine McDannell, Kallie McDannell, 29 great grandchildren, his two brothers, Dwight Speelman, Harold Speelman, and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Vincent Martin, and seven siblings, Mary, Stan, Pearl, Sonny, Joe, Winnie and Jean.
Funeral service for Mark will be held 11:00 AM, Friday, November 29, 2024 at the Monahan Funeral Home, 125 Carlisle St., Gettysburg, PA. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery.
