
Obituary for Mark Joseph Yingling
Mark Joseph Yingling, 79, Meadow Drive, Gettysburg, PA died Thursday, March 29, 2018 at his home.
He was born October 29, 1938 in Gettysburg, PA the son of the late Jacob and Emma Grimes Yingling. He is survived by his wife, Lucille LeGore Yingling.
Mr. Yingling was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. He attended Delone Catholic High School and for most of his career he was a guard at the Adams County Prison. He was a member of the McSherrystown Home Association, the Gettysburg Elks Lodge, Gettysburg Moose Lodge and the Gettysburg Eagles. Mark’s Masonic memberships included Good Samaritan Blue Lodge 0336, Past High Priest Royal Arch, Gettysburg Commandery Knights Templar #79 KT, 32nd Degree Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite, Shriner’s Zembo Temple, and the Adams County Shrine Club.
In addition to his wife Mark is survived by two daughters; Kimberly Bayer of Gettysburg, PA, Susan Renker of New Cumberland, PA, a step-daughter, Lisa Wood of Coopers Plains, NY, four grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and a twin sister, Ave Staub of Hanover, PA.
Private interment with full Masonic Services were held at an earlier date in Evergreen Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Shriner’s Children Hospital, 3551 North Broad Street, Philadelphia, PA 19140. Online obituary and condolences available at monahanfuneralhome.com.
