Martha L. Clapsadle, 81, Buchanan Valley Road, Orrtanna, PA died Saturday, April 20, 2019 at Transitions Healthcare, Gettysburg, PA.
She was born November 27, 1937 the daughter of the late Albert and Susan McKenrick Clapsadle.
Mrs. Clapsadle was an active member of St. Ignatius Loyola Catholic Church. She was always involved in the annual church picnic and helping around the church after daily Mass. Martha was a caregiver for her parents and many other family members. And also all of the neighborhood cats.
Miss Clapsadle is survived by niece, Annie Bailey, nephews; Dennis Kump, Bill Kump, T. A. Clapsadle, Jr. and the McKenrick family. She was predeceased by two brothers; Thomas A. Clapsadle, Sr., Joseph McKenrick and a sister, Mary Jane Kump.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, April 25, 2019 at 11:00 AM at St. Ignatius Loyola Catholic Church with Rev. Dominic M. DiBiccaro celebrant. Immediately following the Mass interment will be in the church cemetery. A viewing will be held Wednesday evening from 6:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Monahan Funeral Home in Gettysburg.
