Obituary for Mary E. Santana
Mary E. Santana, 70, lost her battle with ALS passing peacefully with her family by her side on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at the York Hospital.
She was born January 7, 1947 in Harrisonburg, VA, the daughter of the late Charles E. and Lillian Stoneburner (Nannie Clara Buffalow). Mary is survived by her husband of 31 years, Miguel Santana; a son, Andrew (Doug) Mitchell of Littlestown, PA; a grandson, Justin Mitchell and his wife, Lauren of Littlestown, PA; two sisters, Karen DuBois and her husband, James of New Oxford, PA, Betty Wagaman and her husband, Robert of Oklahoma City, OK; a brother, Roger Buffalow and his wife, Nanny of Dinwiddie, VA; and a step-sister, Gretta Cool and her husband, John of Gettysburg, PA. She was predeceased by a sister, Janice Stoneburner.
Mary was employed at the North Hanover Wal-Mart for 16 years until her retirement. She was an excellent homemaker who enjoyed her family.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 11, 2018 at Monahan Funeral Home in Gettysburg, at 2 p.m. Interment will be in Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens, Gettysburg. There will be a viewing at the funeral home on Thursday from 1 p.m. until the time of the service.
