Mary Jane was a devoted mother who lived her life for her children. Always loving and cheerful, she greeted each of us many mornings with song, “Oh What a Beautiful Morning”. She previously worked at the Biglerville High School cafeteria, The House of Bender in Gettysburg and volunteered at the SpiriTrust Lutheran Home in Gettysburg. She took care of her husband for 7 years after he suffered a debilitating stroke and also dedicated years of her life taking care of her parents while they resided at Thornwald Home in Carlisle.
