Obituary for Mary K. Shultz
Mary K. Shultz, 89 of Orrtanna, PA passed away at her home on Sunday, December 2, 2018 after a brief illness. Born in Gettysburg, PA on November 25, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Earl & Isabelle Shultz. Mary enjoyed cooking and working in her garden. She had been employed at various factories in the Adams County area for many years; Musselsman’s Food in Biglerville, Essex Wire, Danny Maid and Gettysburg Shoe Co. Mary had recently worked at Benny’s Fruit Market in Orrtanna, PA. She is survived by four sons; Donald Shultz of Orrtanna, Jerry Shultz and wife Bonnie of Biglerville, PA, Terry Shultz and wife Grace of Fairfield, PA and Kenneth Shultz and wife Donna of Orrtanna, three grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and nine great great grandchildren, three brothers; Merle Shultz of Fairfield, Melvin Shultz and wife Mary Lou of Aspers, PA and Richard Shultz and wife Diane of Orrtanna, five sisters; Margaret Monn, Jean Scott and Pearl Shultz all of Orrtanna, Betty Breach and husband Stanley of Camp Hill, Pa and Joyce Snyder and husband Robert of Dillsburg, PA and many nieces and nephews. Mary was predeceased by her sister Marie Marks and four brothers; Nelson, Francis “Charlie”, Donald and Barry Shultz. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 7, 2018 at the Monahan Funeral Home in Gettysburg, PA with Pastor Ken Aker, officiating. Burial will be in Flohrs Cemetery, McKnightstown, PA. A Viewing will be held on Thursday, December 6, 2018 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
