Obituary for Maybelle E. Jacoby
Maybelle E. Jacoby, 83, of Gettysburg, PA died Monday evening, October 10, 2016 at the Gettysburg Hospital.
Born December 24, 1932 in Bendersville, PA she was the daughter of the late Jacob and Levina (Myers) Black. She was the wife of the late Earl Jacoby, Sr., who died in 1988.
Maybelle is survived by eight children, Earl Jacoby, Jr., of Hanover, PA, Betty Jacoby, of New Oxford, PA, Debra Daley, of McConnellsburg, PA, David Jacoby, of New Oxford, PA, Michael Jacoby, of Biglerville, PA, John Jacoby, of Gettysburg, PA, Gene Jacoby, of East Berlin, PA, Roxy Ramsey, of Chambersburg, PA, 26 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren, and one sister, Marvel Plank, of Spring Grove, PA. She was preceded in death by two sons, Robert Jacoby and Jeff Jacoby, as well as a number of brothers and sisters.
A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM, Friday, October 14, 2016 at Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens, 1380 Chambersburg Rd., Gettysburg, PA. The Monahan Funeral Home is in charge of the funeral arrangements and online condolences may be made at monahanfuneralhome.com.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the funeral home to defray funeral expenses.
