Obituary for Nadia Nicole Rodriquez
Nadia Nicole Rodriquez, 19, of Harrisburg, PA died unexpectedly, Wednesday evening, May 31, 2017 as a result of an automobile accident.
Born December 28, 1997 in Gettysburg, PA to Tabitha Nicole Tucker and William Cornish and Lester Bucher. Her surviving grandparents are Joe and Betty Tuff, of Gettysburg, PA, William and Pamela Cornish, of York, PA, Leon Tucker, of Dade City, FL and great great grandmother, Hattie Tucker, of Dade City, FL.
Nadia was raised in Gettysburg by her grandparents Joe and Betty Tuff and the late Classie M. Thomas. She attended Adams County school where she was in the band, orchestra, and cheerleading at the Gettysburg Middle School.
Nadia was a member of Amos Tabernacle Church in Mummasburg, PA and baptized there by her Pastor Dave Roberts.
She later moved to Harrisburg, PA with her mother and graduated from John Harris High School in 2016. She worked at Footlocker Shoes, Popeyes, and Chewy Warehouse in Carlisle, PA.
In addition to her parents and grandparents, Nadia is survived by her sisters, April Gibson, of Mulberry, FL, Kalyah Marin, of Canada, Sasha Bucher, of Harrisburg, Shailynne Cornish, of York, Caleah Goode, of York, Arayah Goode, of York, brothers, Lester Bucher, Jr., of Harrisburg, D’Aonte Cornish, of York, Akayus Cornish, of York, aunts, Candice Tucker (Jesicca) Harrisburg, Chanda Brown (Arnold), of York, Kathy Tucker, of Rochester, NY, two God aunts, Sheree Stump, of Harrisburg, Celeste Lawson, of Steelton, uncles, Curtis Tucker, of Wilcott, NY, Gregory Bucher, of Harrisburg, as well as of number of other aunts, great aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Funeral services will be held 11:30 AM, Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at the Monahan Funeral Home, 125 Carlisle St., Gettysburg, PA with Pastor David Roberts officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery, Gettysburg. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the time of the service Tuesday morning at the funeral home.
