Nathaniel Tyler, Sr., 75 of Cashtown, PA passed away at his home with his family by his side on Thursday, September 13, 2018.
Born July 30, 1943, he was the son of the late Walter & Alice (Boykin) Tyler. Nathaniel is survived by his wife of 54 years, Aggie B. (Anderson) Tyler, a son, Nathaniel Tyler, Jr. of Aspers, PA, three daughter; Ruby Shy of Cashtown, Mary Ellen Mallory of Gettysburg, PA and Barbara Ann Tyler of Pittsburgh, PA, thirteen grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, six sisters; Mary Tyler, Mary Winters, Dorothy Johnson, Diane Tyler, Mildred Johnson and Easter Tyler, four brothers; O.C. Tyler, Henry Tyler, David Tyler and Willie Tyler and many nieces and nephews. Nathaniel had been employed for many years with Knouse Foods.
Private funeral services will be held in the Evergreen Cemetery in Gettysburg with Pastor Dave Roberts, officiating. The Monahan Funeral Home in Gettysburg is assisting the family with the arrangements, online tributes and condolences can be made at monahanfuneralhome.com.
