Obituary for Peggy L. Gastley
Peggy L. Gastley, 72 of Gettysburg, PA died peacefully on Thursday, November 3, 2016 surrounded by her family.
Born April 24, 1944 in Gettysburg, PA she was the daughter of the late Elmer & Mary (Kuhn) Gastley.
Peggy was a graduate of Delone Catholic High School and was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Gettysburg. She had been employed by the Gettysburg Hospital as a housekeeping supervisor for 35 years before her retirement in 2009.
Peggy is survived by her daughter, Maria McKenrick and her husband Matt of Mechanicsburg, PA, 2 grandchildren; Rachel and Sarah McKenrick, 2 brothers; Lloyd Gastley of Gettysburg and Glenn Gastley of Hanover, PA, 2 sisters; Mary Entenmann and Dolores Herring both of Gettysburg and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by four siblings; John Gastley, Romanus Gastley, Joanne Moritz and Mary Herring.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 45 West High Street, Gettysburg, PA, with Fr. John Kuchinski Celebrant. Interment will be in St. Francis Cemetery. A viewing will be held at the church on Tuesday from 10-11 a.m.
