
Obituary for Ralph C. Woerner
Ralph C. Woerner, 78, of Gettysburg, PA died Sunday afternoon, May 8, 2016 at his home.
Born May 3, 1938 in Gettysburg he was the son of the late Clifton and Edith (Little) Woerner. He was the husband of Norma J. (Shermeyer) Woerner of Gettysburg to whom he was married to for 50 years.
Mr. Woerner was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Gettysburg. He worked as a farmer and livestock dealer in Adams County and was a member of the Farmer’s Association.
In addition to his wife, Ralph is survived by his three children, Melinda J. Roth and her husband Ron, of Arendtsville, Craig A. Woerner and his partner Caroline Lindsey, of Gettysburg, Susan K. Rowles, of South Carolina, five grandchildren, Brian Roth, Laken Wilson, Sierra Linton, Aubrey Rowles, Nathaniel Rowles, a great grandson, Liam, a sister, Mary Catherine Strasbaugh, of Gettysburg, and a brother, Paul Woerner, of Biglerville. He was preceded in death by a sister, Jean Eiker.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Thursday, May 12, 2016 at the Monahan Funeral Home, 125 Carlisle St., Gettysburg with Fr. Daniel Richards officiating. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM, Wednesday evening, May 11, 2016 at the funeral home, as well as from 1:00 PM until the start of the services Thursday afternoon.
