Obituary for Ralph E. Kuykendall
Ralph Eugene Kuykendall, 78, formerly of Low Dutch Rd., Gettysburg, PA died Sunday, April 21, 2019 at the York Hospital.
Born August 6, 1940 in Gettysburg, PA he was the son of the late Roy H. and Frances M. (White) Kuykendall. He was the husband of the late Nadine (Brown) Kuykendall.
Ralph attended Foursquare Church, Gettysburg, PA. He retired from Sprint Telephone Company after working there for 28 years and then worked for the Littlestown School District for 15 years. He was a member of the Gettysburg Riding Club and the Arendtsville Lion’s Club.
He is survived by his three siblings, Joy Carnell and her husband Donald, of Tampa, FL, Thomas Kuykendall and his wife Susan, of Carlisle, PA, Wanda Phillips, of Scottsdale, AZ, and a number of nieces, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his sister, Susan Kuykendall.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, April 27, 2019 at the Monahan Funeral Home, 125 Carlisle St., Gettysburg, PA with Pastor Mark Chester officiating. Burial will be in the Mummasburg Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6-8 PM, Friday evening, April 26, 2019 at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at monahanfuneralhome.com.
