Obituary for Richard C. Molloy
Richard C. Molloy, 92, Gettysburg, PA died Friday, January 26, 2018 at his home surrounded by his family.
He was born January 20, 1926 in New York City the son of the late Thomas C. and Gernard Herman Molloy. His wife Nancy F. Molloy died in 1998.
Mr. Molloy was a veteran of World War II serving in the US Navy in the Pacific Theater. He was employed at the New York Daily News in the composing room for 45 years until his retirement. He enjoyed bowling, participating in several leagues.
Richard is survived by his son, Clifford Molloy and his wife Cindy of Gettysburg, PA, a daughter, Kristine Keenan and her husband Kevin of Minneapolis, MN and a number of grandchildren.
Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Adams County SPCA, 11 Goldenville Road, Gettysburg, PA 17325.
