Obituary for Richard G. Savidge
Richard G. Savidge, age 79, 15 Spring Creek Circle, Gettysburg, PA, died Monday, November 21, 2016 at his home surrounded by his children.
He was born December 16, 1936 in Pennington, NJ the son of the late Wayne T. and Dorothy Bernasco Savidge. His wife Betty Ann Savidge died in 2008.
Richard was a graduate of Hopewell Valley Central High School and soon thereafter worked at the family feed mill, then operated a flower shop in the Pennington area. He later became Sales Manager for Egg-O-Matic Company, an egg processing machine firm. Following that he began a 30 year career with Bradley Caldwell, Inc, a company involved with farm, pet and lawn/garden products. Mr. Savidge enjoyed woodworking and annual trips to Maine.
Richard is survived by a son, Todd Savidge, and daughter, Kimberly Southerly. of Gettysburg, PA, and his two grandchildren, Ryan and Megan Southerly.
