Obituary for Robert James Wherley
Robert James Wherley, 57, of Gettysburg, PA died suddenly, Monday morning, April 25, 2016 at the Gettysburg Hospital.
Born November 17, 1958 in Gettysburg he was the son of James E. Wherley, of Gettysburg and the late Sandra K. Kint. He was the husband of Carol E. (Miller) Wherley of Gettysburg to whom he was married to for 40 years.
Mr. Wherley worked at International Papers in Biglerville for 12 years. He was a member of the Gettysburg Moose and was an avid outdoorsman and wildlife enthusiast, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. Bob will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his wife and father, Robert is survived by his two children, Jason Wherley, of Gettysburg, Casey Wherley, of Loganton, PA, his granddaughter, Ravina Wherley, and his brother, Daniel Wherley, of Gettysburg.
A funeral service will be held 12:00 Noon, Saturday, April 30, 2016 at the Monahan Funeral Home, 125 Carlisle St., Gettysburg. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the time of the service Saturday at the funeral home.
