
Rose Z. (Hobbs) Herring Bream, 88, of Fairfield, PA passed away peacefully at the home of her children Friday morning, February 19, 2016.
Born January 14, 1928 in Fairfield, PA she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Martha Zita (Sneeringer) Hobbs. She was the wife of the late Harry Herring and the late Maurice E. Bream.
Rose was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Fairfield. She drove a school bus for the Littlestown Area School District for 29 years. She was a life time auxiliary member of the Littlestown VFW and a member of the Adams County PA Association of School Retirees.
Mrs. Bream is survived by her four children, H. David Herring and his wife Mona, of Littlestown, PA, Beverly Heare and her husband L. James, of New Oxford, PA, Deborah Herring, of Fairfield, PA, Dennis Herring, of Fairfield, PA, five grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, 12 siblings, Carolyn Hobbs Lydon, Ann Marie Hobbs McCleaf, Michael Hobbs, Lillian Hobbs Harner, Paul Hobbs, Karl Hobbs, Corona Hobbs Naylor, Angela Hobbs Parrish, Agatha Hobbs Fascato, Lawrence Hobbs, Linda Hobbs Steinle and Janean Hobbs, her four step-children, Ron Bream and his wife Sue, of Missouri, Millie West, of Australia, Wayne Bream, of Elizabethtown, PA, Gary Bream and his wife Grace, of North Carolina, seven step-grandchildren, and two step-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three siblings, Mary Kathryn Hobbs Brinkman, Joseph Hobbs, and Martha Hobbs Bravo.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 Thursday, February 25, 2016 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 256 Tract Rd., Fairfield, PA. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Gettysburg. Family will receive friends from 6-8 PM, Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at the Monahan Funeral Home, 27 East Main St., Fairfield, PA, as well as 10:00 AM until the start of Mass Thursday at the church.
