Ruby Irene Parr, 81 of Gettysburg, PA passed away at Paramount Senior Living in Fayetteville, PA on Saturday, May 5, 2018.
Born April 14, 1937 in Biglerville, PA, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth E. & Mabel E. (Rice) Williams, Sr. Ruby was predeceased by her husband, Daniel J. Parr, who died in 2000.
Ruby was an active member of Trinity United Church of Christ in Cashtown, PA.
She is survived by her five children; Teresa Parr and husband Paul of Fairfield, PA, Linda Breen and husband Kevin of Philadelphia, PA, Ronald Parr and wife Missy of Orrtanna, PA, Joseph Parr of Fairfield, PA and Kenneth Parr and wife Diane of Orrtanna, five grandchildren, five great grandchildren and a brother, Kenneth E. Williams, Jr. and wife Alice. Ruby was predeceased by a brother, Eugene R. Williams.
A Memorial Service to celebrate Ruby’s life will be held at 6:00 P.M. on Friday, May 11, 2018 at the Trinity United Church of Christ, 1126 Old Route #30, Cashtown, with her Pastor, Rev. Christina Fidanza, officiating. A private burial will be held in Flohrs Cemetery.
