Obituary for Sandra "Sandy" McNair
Sandra M. “Sandy” McNair, 61 of York Springs, PA died suddenly on Monday, May 21, 2018 at the Gettysburg Hospital.
Born in Frederick, Maryland on March 30, 1957, she was the daughter of the late William & Mary (Thompson) Rippeon.
Sandy enjoyed reading, working in her garden and had a love for animals.
She is survived by her three children; Michael Rippeon of York Springs, Stacy Scott of Florida and Bill Scott of Abbottstown, PA, eight grandchildren, two sisters; Wanda Myers of Emmitsburg and Cathy Fox of Cascade, Maryland, a half-sister, Tammy Keller of Gettysburg, PA, a half-brother, Randy Rippeon of Gettysburg and many nieces and nephews. Sandy was predeceased by two grandchildren; Sydney Ruddy and Brett Michael Cordero, a sister, Lisa Sier and a half-brother, Billy Rippeon.
A Memorial Service to celebrate Sandy’s life will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 31, 2018 at Emory United Methodist Church, 30 Center Square, New Oxford, PA with Pastor Brian Doyle, officiating. The family will receive friends at the church on Thursday from 6:00-6:30 p.m. Burial will be private
