Obituary for Susan Lynn Kennedy Lawson
Mrs. Susan Lynn Kennedy Lawson, 46, of Thomasville, passed away at the Hospice of the Piedmont in High Point on Friday, September 25, 2020. She was born Chester County, August 17, 1974, to Thu Thi Ha Kennedy and Theodore Randolph Kennedy. Susan was employed with Signature Signage. She was a loving mother, daughter, sister, and friend. In addition to her parents, Susan will be lovingly remembered by a daughter, Morgan Ann Nicole; two sons, Chase Lawson and Connor Locklear; a sister, Lena Bakke; a brother, Theodore “Teddy” Kennedy; and the fathers of her children, Neal Lawson and Dean Locklear. Susan was preceded in death by a sister, Kimmy Whitlock. A funeral mass will be held at 4:00 PM on Monday, September 28, 2020, at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy. The family will receive friends Monday from 3:00 until 4:00 PM at the funeral home. Funeral Mass will be held 11:00 AM, Friday, October 2, 2020 at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, 29 S. Queen St., Littlestown, PA. Interment will follow at St. Xavier Cemetery in Gettysburg, PA.
