Obituary for Teresa Johnson Hanlon
Teresa M. Johnson (Hanlon), 58, 421 Village Drive, Gettysburg, PA died Friday, October 20, 2017 at her home surrounded by her family.
She was born July 5, 1959 in Gettysburg, PA the daughter of the late Lawrence S. and Isadora Williams Johnson.
Teresa attended Gettysburg High School. She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. Most recently, Teresa was employed at the Wyndham Hotel in Gettysburg. She was a member of Gettysburg American Legion and VFW Post 15 in Gettysburg, PA. Teresa enjoyed singing, cooking and dancing but most of all she loved time with her family.
Mrs. Hanlon is survived by a son, Ketrell Johnson and his wife Kristina of Gettysburg PA, a daughter, Tiele Barbour of Gettysburg PA, four grandchildren; Kuriana Johnson, Arianna Nowak, Cameron Nyholm, Kadan Johnson, a great grandson, Cameron Nyholm, Jr., a companion, Flip Fazenbaker of Gettysburg PA, brothers and sisters; Josephine Brooks of Gettysburg PA, Philip C. Johnson of Gettysburg PA, Dora B. Smith of Gettysburg PA, Shirley A. Johnson of Gettysburg PA, David E. Johnson of Carroll Valley PA, Michael L. Johnson of Fairfield PA, Louis C. Johnson of Gettysburg PA, Bernard E. Johnson of Myrtle Beach, SC and a number of nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Lawrence Johnson and a sister, Alice Johnson.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Friday, October 27, 2017 at 2:00 PM from St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, High Street, Gettysburg, PA. The family will receive friends at the church on Friday from Noon until the time of the Mass.
