Obituary for Terry Arthur Culp
Terry Arthur Culp left his earthly home and went to be with his God and Savior on Friday, March 17.
He was born in Brysonia of his parents Marian Dorothea and Roy Daniel Culp on October 1, 1935.
He attended Gettysburg schools, graduating in 1954. While in high school he played football on the undefeated 51-52 team. While working with Gettysburg Building Supply he hauled lumber for President Eisenhower’s renovated home. Terry served in the United States Army from 1955-1957, then was employed by the Letterkenny Ordinance Depot where he met his wife, the former Carol Ann Davis.
He was an Officer in the Adams County Fish and Game for 25 years. After his retirement he enjoyed tending his small orchard of various fruit trees.
In addition to his wife of 57 years he is survived by son Jeffry Culp of Aspers, son Douglas Culp and his wife Sharon and step granddaughter Becca Herring. Also surviving are brother, Tom Culp and his wife Janet, brother, Tim Culp and his wife JoAnn, and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held 1:00 PM, Thursday March 23, 2017 at Trinity UCC, 1126 Old Route 30, Cashtown, PA with Rev. Christina Fidanza officiating. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. Online condolences may be made at monahanfuneralhome.com.
