Obituary for Thelma J. Dick
Thelma J. Dick, 64, of Gettysburg, PA died suddenly, Saturday evening, December 3, 2016 at the Gettysburg Hospital.
Born December 21, 1951 in Gettysburg she was the daughter of the late Floyd and Betty (Jeffcoat) Starner. She was the wife of Harry E. Dick, of Gettysburg to whom she was married to for 18 years. She was preceded in death by her first husband Ronald E. Bollinger, Sr.
Thelma recently retired from Winter Gardens Foods, but previously worked for Quebecor Printing, and Eddie’s Cleaners.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son, Ronald E. Bollinger, of Gettysburg, step-daughter, Tracy Peters and her husband Ethan, of Biglerville, three grandsons, Adam C. Peters, Daniel E. Peters, Luke D. Peters, two brothers, James Starner, of Dover, Floyd Michael Starner, of New Oxford, two step-sisters, Lisa Tester and Margaret Starner, both of Gettysburg, a sister-in-law, Kay Baker, of Keansburg, NJ, brother-in-law, Keith Patterson, of Waynesboro, as well as a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Barbara Patterson and Dianna Oaster.
A memorial service will be held 7:00 PM, Wednesday evening, December 7, 2016 at the Monahan Funeral Home, 125 Carlisle St., Gettysburg with Rev. Susan McCarthy officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until the time of the services Wednesday evening at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at monahanfuneralhome.com.
