Thomas E. Callahan, 69, 136 North Stratton Street, Gettysburg, PA died Sunday, March 5, 2017 at Fox Subacute Care in Mechanicsburg, PA.
He was born August 24, 1947 in Gettysburg, PA the son of the late Daniel E. and Mary Yvonne Groft Callahan.
Tom was employed at Faber’s Restaurant on Lincoln Square for many years, starting as a dishwasher at the age of 16 and working his way up to Assistant Manager. Then later he worked at Ernie’s Texas Lunch. He was a member of the Gettysburg Moose.
Tom is survived by three sisters; Ann Smith of Gettysburg, PA, Jane Settle and her husband Gerald of Orrtanna, PA, Patricia Crowell and her husband Clark of Gettysburg, PA, a brother, Michael Callahan and his wife Lou Ann of Gettysburg, PA, a sister-in-law, Paula Walter Callahan of Bonneauville, PA and a number of nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Daniel Callahan.
A Memorial service will be held at a later date. Private interment will be in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Gettysburg, PA at the convenience of the family.
