Virginia R. Deal, age 85 of Gettysburg, PA died Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at SpiriTrust Lutheran – The Village at Gettysburg.
Born February 5, 1932 in Lehigh County, PA, she was the daughter of the late Elmer A. & Bertha M. (Berkenstock) Schaffer. Virginia was predeceased by her husband, Stanley W. Deal who died in 2003. Virginia is survived by her daughter, JoyceAnn Deal of Gettysburg, brother-in-law, Bruce BenKinney of Berwick, PA, a number of nieces and nephews and her two cats; George and Schwanz. She was predeceased by her sister, Arlene BenKinney.
A graveside funeral service and interment will be held at Chestnut Hill Church Cemetery in Coopersburg, PA on Monday, July 31, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. The family suggests in lieu of flowers, that memorials be sent to Forever Love Rescue, P.
