Obituary for William L. Sentz

William L. Sentz, 67, Orrtanna, PA passed away suddenly on Wednesday, March 13, 2024 at his home.

He was born January 16, 1957 in Gettysburg PA the son of the late Donald L. and Nadine Fissel Sentz. William is survived by his wife, Roxanne Kohler Sentz.

Mr. Sentz was a veteran having served in the US Army. He was a member of St. James United in Christ Church in Littlestown, PA. For most of his life he worked various construction jobs and for a while at Smith Construction Company in Bel Air, MD. Bill enjoyed hunting and snowmobiling. He also liked to work on his tractor. But most of all he loved to spend time with his family.

In addition to his wife, William is survived by two daughters; Michelle Ann Mathis and her husband Terrick Ace of New Oxford, PA, Jamie Beth Zartman and her husband Jerry Joseph of Gettysburg, PA, grandsons; Nicholas William Millhimes, Shane Andrew Sanders, Austin John Sanders, Brady Allen Degroft, granddaughters; Tiffany Renee Miller, Chloe Marie Degroft, 12 great grandchildren, brothers and sisters; Doug Sentz and his wife Jane, Wayne Sentz and his wife Lori, Danny Sentz and his wife Deborah, Bonnie Forbes and her husband Tony, Pam Sturgeon and her husband Dave. Mr. Sentz was predeceased by a daughter, Maria Renee Millhimes.

The family will visit with friends on Saturday, March 23, from 2PM until 4PM at St. James UCC Church, 1200 Harney Road, Littlestown, PA. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Adams County SPCA, 11 Goldenville Road, Gettysburg, PA 17325. Online obituary and condolences available at
