Zachary J. Donaldson, 41, Fairfield, PA died suddenly on Friday, January 26, 2018 in Thurmont, MD.
He was born May 4, 1976 in Gettysburg, PA the son of Michael and Tamara Dunbar Donaldson of Fairfield, PA. Zach is survived by his wife, Michelle Bertocchini Donaldson of Fairfield, PA, two sons; Kobe Donaldson and Dustin Donaldson of Waynesboro, PA, a brother, Wesley Donaldson of Waynesboro, PA, a sister, Kari George and her husband Mark of Waynesboro, PA, nieces and nephews; Bella Donaldson, Bailee Donaldson, Kiley George, Brett George, and an aunt, Jeannie Donaldson Speilman of Fairfield, PA.
Zachary was a 1994 graduate of Fairfield High School. Following high school he was employed for Roaring Springs Water Company as a route distributer. Most recently he was employed as a window glazer in the Maryland and D.C. area working on many large construction projects. Zach was a big sports fan who enjoyed the Pittsburgh Steelers, Pittsburgh Penguins, and Baltimore Orioles, hunting, fishing and softball. But most of all he loved spending time with his family.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, February 3, 2018 at 11:00 AM from Monahan Funeral Home in Fairfield, PA with Rev. Christopher Frye officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 9:30 AM until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Foundation for Sarcoidosis Research, 1820 West Weber Avenue, Suite 304, Chicago, IL 60614.
