Janet D. Nett, 76 of Gettysburg, PA passed away on Sunday, October 23, 2016 at the Village of Laurel Run surrounded by her beloved family.
Born August 10, 1940 in Gettysburg, she was the daughter of the late Glenn R. & Dorothy (Plank) Trostle, Sr.
Janet was a life member of Flohrs Lutheran Church in McKnightstown, PA. She served as church secretary for a number of years. Janet enjoyed working and the many people she meet at her many years with Rea & Derrick Drug Store, which later became CVS Pharmacy.
Janet is survived by her husband of 57 years, David L. Nett, a son, Michael L. Nett of Tuscarora, MD, a daughter, Kimberly D. Pristello of Gettysburg, 3 grandchildren; Megan and Kyle Nett, and Rochelle Pristello, 3 great grandchildren; Daffney Pristello, Jackson Nett and Grayson Wise, a brother, Glenn R. Trostle, Jr. of Gettysburg and a sister, Judy Gastley of Gettysburg. She was predeceased by a sister, Jean Topper.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 28, 2016 at Flohrs Lutheran Church, 595 Flohrs Church Road, McKnightstown, PA with her Pastor, Rev. Thomas Darr, officiating. Interment will be in Flohrs Church Cemetery. A Viewing will be held at the church on Thursday, October 27 from 6-8 p.m. The family suggests memorials to; Flohrs Lutheran Church, P.O. Box 32, McKnightstown, PA l7343. The Monahan Funeral Home in Gettysburg is assisting the family with the funeral arrangements.
