Obituary for Gordon S. Lehigh
Gordon S. Lehigh, 63 of Mechanicsburg, PA died Sunday, November 13, 2016 at Holy Spirit Hospital in Camp Hill, PA.
Born in Gettysburg, PA on May 15, 1953, he was the son of the late Earl M. & Irene S. (Cullison) Lehigh. Gordon leaves behind his companion of 34 years, Jonathan Batdorf.
He was a member of Daybreak Church in Mechanicsburg and had been employed by the Shiremanstown United Methodist Church and School for the past 16 years.
Gordon is survived by nine siblings; Connie Montanari and Brenda Lehigh both of Mechanicsburg, Beverly Lehigh, Sandra Lehigh and Timothy Lehigh all of Gettysburg, Terry Lehigh, Jan Lehigh and Katrinka Lehigh all of Hanover, PA and Earl M. Lehigh, Jr. of Lakeland, FL. He was predeceased by a brother, Jeffrey Lehigh.
A memorial service to celebrate Gordon’s life will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, November 18, 2016 at Daybreak Church, 321 Gettysburg Pike, Mechanicsburg, PA with his Pastor, Ron O’Neil, officiating. The family will receive friends at a reception at the church following the service on Friday. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery, Gettysburg.
