Obituary for Janet D. Trykowski
Janet D. Trykowski, 64, of Carroll Valley, PA died Wednesday afternoon, August 19, 2020 at the Gettysburg Hospital.
Born June 26, 1956 in Rockville, MD she was the daughter of the late Earnest and Nancy (Lawrence) Burgess, Sr. She was the dedicated and caring wife to her late husband, Edward A. Trykowski, who died April 1, 2018 suffering from dementia.
Janet worked for many years as a waitress at Bare Bones Bar & Grill in Gaithersburg, MD., she was a long time member of the F.O. Eagles #3509 in Gaithersburg. In her free time Janet enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, listening to oldies music, cooking, and socializing with her friends.
She is survived by her daughter, Donna Walter George and her husband Teddy George, Jr., her three grandchildren, Alicia Walter, Shyanne George, Kiara George, her great grandson, Jason Camron, Jr., and he two brothers, Zane Burgess and Doug Burgess. She was preceded in death by three brothers, William David Burgess, Kemmer Burgess, and Earnest Burgess, Jr.
The family is planning a Celebration of Janet’s Life, to be held, 1:00 PM, Saturday, September 26, 2020 at Janet’s home on 14 Blizzard Trail, Fairfield, PA. The Monahan Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements and online condolences may be made at monahanfuneralhome.com.
