Obituary for Briar Linden Garber
Briar Linden Garber, 24, of Gettysburg, PA died suddenly on Sunday, October 29, 2017 at his home.
Born July 28, 1993 in York, PA he was the son of Karen Lynn (Lehr) Garber of Gettysburg and Lonny L. Garber of Mena, AR.
Briar graduated from Biglerville High School in 2011, where he was a member of the football, wrestling and track teams. He worked as an independent flooring contractor in the Adams-York area. Briar enjoyed working out and was a member of Gold’s Gym. He also enjoyed working on and riding his dirt bike and hanging out with his friends and family. He lived life to the fullest and loved to put a smile on your face or make you laugh.
In addition to his parents, Briar is survived by a brother, Colton Garber of Gettysburg, maternal grandparents, Patricia Lehr and James Scott of Long Neck, DE and Gary Lehr of East Berlin, PA, paternal grandparents, Lee & Jessica Fuller of Mena, AR, paternal great grandmother, Ruth Miller of Mena, AR, and aunts and uncles; Kathy & Barry Gay of York, PA, Kelly Lehr and Alan White of Lewisberry, PA, Ty Myers of York, Jason Myers and Josh Leonard of Arkansas, Kenneth Paup, Barry Paup and Judy Snyder all of York, Jerry Miller and Joe Miller both of Arkansas and cousins Andrew and Sam Gay of York, along with many other cousins, aunts and uncles on the Garber and Lehr side.
The family will receive friends from 2:00-4:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 4, 2017 at the Monahan Funeral Home, 125 Carlisle Street, Gettysburg, PA. Burial will be private. Online tributes and condolences can be made at monahanfuneralhome.com.
