Lois M. Shorb, 66, 133 Pape Alley, Gettysburg, PA who died Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at her home.
She was born April 6, 1952 in Baltimore, MD the daughter of the late Lloyd M. Wilson and Laura L. Haney. Her husband Daniel Shorb died in 2004.
Lois attended FCF Church in Fayetteville, PA. She attended Gettysburg High School. Early in her career she worked at various shoe factories in the area. She then married and raised her family. Later she was employed at Rite-Aid on West Street in Gettysburg. Lois enjoyed bowling, Yard Sales and puzzle books.
Mrs. Shorb is survived by her children; Patricia Mae Neiderer of Chambersburg, PA, Christina Ann Neiderer of New Oxford, PA, Bruce Woodward of Thurmont, MD, Michael Woodward of Hanover, PA, grandchildren; Xavier McBride, Nathan Neiderer, Isaiah Woodward, Kiana Woodward, three great grandchildren, a sister, Mary Chapman of Gettysburg, PA, and a brother, Calvin Haney of Candler, NC. She was predeceased by a daughter, Peggy Woodward, brothers and sisters; William Haney, Margaret Waldron, Joan Howard and Deborah Cruz.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, May 5, 2018 at Monahan Funeral Home in Gettysburg at 2:00 PM with Pastor Rod Thomas officiating. There will be a viewing at the funeral home on Saturday from 1:00 PM until the time of the service.
