Obituary for Loretta G. McGlaughlin
Loretta G. McGlaughlin, 98 of Fairfield, PA passed away at her home on Wednesday, October 10, 2018. Born in Fairfield, on September 7, 1920 she was the daughter of the late Albert & Nellie (Wantz) Flenner. Mrs. McGlaughlin was predeceased by her husband of 56 years, Roy C. McGlaughlin who died in 1990.
She was a member of the Iron Springs Brethren in Christ Church in Fairfield. Mrs. McGlaughlin enjoyed reading her bible, listening to Gospel and Blue Grass music, making quilts and was an excellent baker.
Survivors include her three children; Roy A. McGlaughlin and wife Connie of Fairfield, Darlene Kauffman and husband Gary of Gardenrs, PA and Treva Bowders and husband Vic of Fairfield, five grandsons; Roy A. McGlaughlin, Jr., Todd McGlaughlin, Gary Kauffman, Jr., Shawn Kauffman and Eric Nagle, 7 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. McGlaughlin was predeceased by three sisters; Ruth Adelsberger, Alice Dick and Clara “Dolly” Hardman and two brothers; John Flenner and George Flenner.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 18, 2018 at the Monahan Funeral Home, 27 East Main St., Fairfield, PA with Rev. Doug Lichty and Rev. Terry Hoke, officiating.
