Obituary for Earl J. Kump
Earl J. Kump, 71, of Gettysburg, PA died Satruday afternoon, April 30, 2016 at the York Hospital.
Born December 1, 1944 in Gettysburg he was the son of the late Jacob and Louise (Wingert) Kump. He was the husband of Sharon J. (Monn) Kump of Gettysburg to whom he was married to for 51 years.
Mr. Kump worked at BAE Systems in York for over 30 years. He was a former board member and current member of the Adams County Fish and Game.
In addition to his wife Earl is survived by his two children, Earl Kump, Jr. and his wife Beth, of Gettysburg, Tammy Hutzell and her husband John, of Gettysburg, three grandchildren, Zack Kump and his wife Alexandria, Jacob Kump and his wife Shelley, Kirsten Witherup and her husband Phil, three great grandchildren, Isaac Kump, Ezra Kump, Paxton Kump, thre brothers, Paul, Kenneth, Clair, five sisters, Kathy, Janet, Susan Doris, Judy, and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Thursday, May 5, 2016 at the Monahan Funeral Home, 125 Carlisle St., Gettysburg, PA with Rev. David Dunn officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery, Gettysburg. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the time of the service Thursday. Online condolences may be made at monahanfuneralhome.com.
